Global History & Geography 10 Honors Course Overview:
Global History and Geography 10 Honors is the second year of a two-year course. This year, we will be starting with the Age of Absolutism (1500’s & 1600’s), and continue to present day.
At the end of the year, you will take a Regents Exam which covers both years of the course. A passing grade on the exam is required for graduation.
The Honors Program in Global History is intended to go beyond the scope and depth of the regular curriculum. The course will be both more challenging in the level of thinking it requires, and more rewarding. Additionally, it is also a feeder program for Advanced Placement US History.
